There are a lot of wonderful things that I can say about Loran Nicastro. I’ve known him for many years, as both a client and a colleague. First of all, he spares no expense to study with the best teachers (physicians) and that definitely shows in his work. He has gained a lot of knowledge and skill over the years and sometimes I think he knows more than the average doctor does! He has helped a lot of people and he truly cares for the well-being of his clients. Loran has helped me with numerous issues over the years, including severe neck & head pain from repeated head traumas, organ tensions, functional problems, chronic high blood pressure, various muscular pains & nerve tensions, lymphatic problems, and multiple symptoms that I suffered after a fall & a car accident. I am a cardiologist physician and met Loran Nicastro 2 months after developing a severe post-operative lumbosacral sciatica. I had been on prolonged anti-inflammatory and pain medications, and had 2 epidurals followed by acupuncture therapy. All without significant symptom relief. After one session with Loran, I experienced significant relief and after 3 sessions, complete resolution of my symptoms. I have subsequently come to Loran with multiple musculoskeletal and arthritic problems which he has helped me with. I have sent him patients with leg swelling and thrombophlebitis, all of whom had significant improvement. I went to see Loran on a recommendation after years of seasonal vertigo and numerous specialists that never provided complete relief. My only regret is that I didn't go sooner. Loran was able to identify the issue, address it and explain and provide exercises to help maintain the progress made. He truly cares about his patients and is an expert in his field. I started working with Loran many years ago. He was the first person who was able to help me with lower back pain (in my first session) by doing a pelvic stabilization. Years later, I went through a knee replacement. After the knee replacement my recovery was facilitated by Loran doing lymph drainage and several other techniques to help my leg. A few years after that, I had my second knee replacement but this time saw him before the surgery and immediately after it. The second knee recovery went much quicker by having the pre-operative work done and the post- operative work done immediately after the surgery. I always kid him and tell him he is like a doctor that really knows the body. His work with the nervous system is really effective in relieving pain, but for me, it was a life-changing situation. Years ago I was rushed to the hospital with blood pressure over 220 and the hospital kept me in there for several days treating me for a stroke. Nothing was ever found, but I continued to have symptoms that simulated heart problems such as tingling down my left arm. Loran uncovered that there were nerve restrictions around my kidney, causing kidney tension and in turn affecting my cardiovascular system. Soon after he treated everything, all symptoms disappeared. Blood pressure lowered and I avoided having to go on statins which is what the doctors wanted to give me. It ended up having nothing to do with my heart. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer. I initially had surgery and radiation and continued on medication. After a few uneventful mammograms, my scans began to show "something" in a few of my lymph nodes. Every scan was followed by ultrasounds and other tests. I was told the "somethings" were benign, but it was scary, stressful, and expensive. At this point another licensed massage therapist recommended Loran to me for lymphatic drainage. I saw him regularly for about 8 months. The treatments were with such a light touch that I found it difficult to think anything was really happening. Until my next mammogram. That scan revealed lymph nodes that were completely clean, no "somethings" anywhere. Because nothing else had changed, because I had done nothing else differently, it was clear that Loran's treatments had produced this wonderful result. Brain work is incredibly nuanced and very hard to comprehend, not only because the brain is so complex, but also because much of how the brain functions is unknown, even to neurologists. I've seen a lot of different people and by far, Loran's incredible depth of knowledge and intricate work with the brain has been life changing for me and for my younger brother. I have much better memory, focus, articulation, stamina, and energy levels. Neuro- fatigue/injury is often misconstrued with adrenal fatigue, and having consistent brain therapy sessions verified that I didn't have an adrenal problem. The treatments helped to strengthen the neural pathways and they enhanced the functioning of my brain. This I believe, can only help to create and facilitate new neural pathways and provide healing on a much deeper level. A very clean diet can only do so much in assisting the brain. Specific and methodical work in assessed areas is really needed to relieve tensions and restrictions in the membranes and in the individual brain structures in order for the brain to perform more optimally.
